I Believe June 3, 2008
I believe I can see God
when I see a butterfly
I believe I can feel God
I believe God uses all things
on His side
and I believe I can see God in you.

She attended East Carolina University with Sandra Bullock and Kevin Williamson, graduated in the top 10 of her class and received the Most Outstanding Senior award. After ECU, she intensely pursued her career as an actress and singer — combining both talents in George Lucas' RADIOLAND MURDERS and co-starring opposite Daniel Roebuck and Randy Travis in Andy Griffith's MATLOCK. Most recently, she was featured in THE ANGEL DOLL and THE DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA-YA SISTERHOOD starring Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, and Ellen Burstyn.
Even now, NINA is quick to remember her acting roots as a child growing up in the foothills of North Carolina. While still in elementary school, she was selected to play one of the young children in the high school's version of the SOUND OF MUSIC and her first leading role was DOROTHY in the WIZARD OF OZ in her eighth grade play. With boundless energy and sweet southern charm, Nina was an instant hit as "Queen Azalea" at the 2000 North Carolina Azalea Festival where the royal line includes such famous queens as Esther Williams, Joan Van Ark, Sharon Gless, and Phylicia Ayers-Rashad. Being true to her art and true to her audience is at the core of Nina's career as a performer. In addition to acting, Nina is an accomplished singer/songwriter/musician and will be releasing her debut album, 7-8-NINA!, later this year. Her creative spark doesn't end with acting and music. Nina also has created her own watercolors and written numerous poems. That's alot of talent packed into one small but powerful woman! |
